Claiming a Prize
If you won between $600.01 and $50,000 or a gift in the Cadeau surprise lottery game, you may claim your prize online using our ticket checker.
Congratulations, you’ve won! Now what?
1. Sign your ticket
Sign your name on the front of the ticket and fill out the back of your ticket. This proves that you’re the rightful owner of the ticket and protects you against loss or theft.
If you bought the ticket as a group, all group members or the group trustee must sign it. The trustee must write their name on the ticket and “In a group of X people.”

Claiming a prize online is quick, safe and easy to do!#
You can claim prizes ranging from $600.01 to $50,000 and gifts online.
To process your prize claim more quickly, we’ve added two new payment methods: Interac e-Transfer Autodeposit, Direct Deposit and deposit into the lotoquebec.com account (to use this payment method, you must have linked your bank account to your lotoquebec.com account.) Payment by cheque is still possible, but it takes longer.

Check your ticket using the online ticket checker or Loto-Québec app to determine if your prize can be claimed online. If you can claim your prize online, you’ll see a blue box inviting you to start the prize claim process.
🛈 Important
No matter your ticket type, make sure to:
- Sign your ticket (on the front),
- Fill out the back (first and last names, address and phone number).
You cannot file a group claim online (except if it’s a Formule groupe or Formule super groupe ticket).
Keep the original ticket for at least 12 months after a prize claimed online has been paid.
